The New ZTF Adaptor This is an exciting development for all fans of the D700 and other classic full frame Nikons - an adaptor which allows us to use the very latest Z-mount glass with the bodies we love. The blurb says that it was the D700 community which sparked this off, and no wonder. Some rabid and brainwashed D700 "Legend" fans have more money than sense. Given no desire to use any other body, buying the latest and most expensive lenses is an important outlet for their enthusiasm.  The fact that "mad Nick" Zochios has endorsed the spurious product is no surprise either. He has long shared the view that the D700 is a unique and priceless camera. Even with used prices as low as $400 for the body he believes that spending $4000 on glass makes perfect sense.  Still, people can spend their money however they like. A free country, isn't it?  Unless you are in the Legend group!

  D700 - The Legend There are many camera groups on Facebook. Some are dedicated to a particular type of photography - Street, or Monochrome, or Minimalist, for example. Others are for people involved in particular professional uses (eg. Wedding Photographers) or phases in their development (eg Beginners). Yet others are for users of certain makes of camera (Nikon, Canon, Sony and so on). And yet others are dedicated to specific models of camera, especially models which have gained a following and a "classic" status.
